Empowering Others Preparatory is committed to ensuring that financial circumstances do not limit opportunity. Through our financial aid and scholarship programs, we support motivated, talented, and driven students who demonstrate academic promise, character, and commitment to personal growth.

Financial assistance at EOP is designed to help families access a high-quality, college-preparatory education while maintaining transparency and equity in the application process. As part of the financial aid application, applicants for financial aid MUST also apply for TEFA funding. Our goal is to partner with families to make an EOP education attainable, empowering students to focus on their academic, athletic, and personal development.

Who is eligible for financial aid or scholarships?
Approximately 20% of EOP students receive financial aid or scholarships each year. Assistance is available through merit-based awards and need-based financial aid.

What types of financial support are offered?
EOP offers merit-based scholarships, need-based financial aid, and flexible payment plans to support families with varying financial needs. We encourage families to apply for the TEFA program prior to applying for EOP financial aid, 

Are flexible payment plans available?
Yes. EOP offers flexible payment plans to help families manage tuition in a way that fits their financial situation.

What are TEFA academic vouchers?
Eligible families may apply for Texas Education Freedom Account (TEFA) academic vouchers, which can be used toward tuition and approved educational expenses. Applications for the 2026-2027 are currently closed.

Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA)

Beginning with the 2026–2027 school year, Empowering Others Preparatory (EOP) is proud to participate in the Texas Education Freedom Account (TEFA) program. TEFA provides eligible families with state-funded education savings accounts that can be used toward approved private school educational expenses.

Families seeking tuition assistance are encouraged to apply for TEFA funding, as these funds may significantly reduce the cost of tuition and eligible educational services. Once your TEFA award has been approved and EOP has confirmed your student's enrollment through Odyssey, your voucher amount will be applied directly to your tuition account. Any remaining tuition balance will be adjusted accordingly.

In addition to serving full-time students, Empowering Others Preparatory is an approved TEFA vendor for homeschool families. Homeschool students who have received a TEFA voucher may use their awarded funds to enroll in EOP's approved courses, including:

  • Physical Education (PE)
  • Fine Arts through our School of Sports Media program

These courses allow homeschool students to earn high school credit while participating in engaging, career-focused learning experiences.
