Founded in 2023 by Coach Anthony Willis and Dr. Monica Cuellar-Willis, Empowering Others Preparatory School (EOP) was built with a clear vision: to create a transformative educational experience that combines rigorous college-preparatory academics, elite athletics, character development, and real-world career readiness. EOP challenges traditional models of secondary education by meeting students where they are while preparing them for where they are going, college, careers, and leadership in a global society.

Located in Cypress, Texas, EOP was established to serve high-performing student-athletes and academically driven students seeking a flexible yet demanding learning environment. Drawing on Coach Willis’s experience in collegiate and elite-level athletics and Dr. Cuellar-Willis’s expertise in education, leadership, and organizational management, the school was founded on a strong foundation of academic excellence and student-centered support.

In its short history, EOP has achieved remarkable milestones. The school maintains a 100% graduation rate, with all student-athletes earning athletic scholarships and pursuing collegiate basketball across Division I, Division II, Division III, JUCO, and NAIA programs. In its first two graduating classes, 100% of graduates are enrolled in college, reflecting EOP’s commitment to holistic preparation: academically, athletically, and personally.

EOP also stands out for its early adoption of dual enrollment opportunities, NCAA-aligned coursework, and faith-based instructional principles. The school continues to expand its academic and career-focused programs, including new offerings in Sports Media, Business and Entrepreneurship, and Exercise and Sports Science. These achievements demonstrate EOP’s evolution from a start-up institution into a forward-thinking preparatory school with a clear identity, measurable outcomes, and a commitment to empowering the next generation of leaders.
